Self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, Zef Eisenberg is to head-up ITV’s all-new motoring show ‘Speed Freaks’ – which airs on Wednesday 7th August on ITV4 at 9.00pm. Watch the exciting trailer below:
Speed Freaks is a six-part weekly series that follows Zef as he tours the nation meeting fellow petrolheads whilst getting behind the wheel of some of the fastest cars and motorcycles in the UK.
Each hour-long episode features weird, yet wonderful vehicles that have been modified, tuned and customised to the absolute maximum. The show promises plenty of excitement, drama and stress and is said to not only be entertaining, but to be factual and informative – giving the viewer the best of both worlds.
Speaking on behalf of Keshet Productions David Williams said “This high-octane series features a high octane excitement, to indulge anyone with an interest in cars, motorsports and engineering. Zef’s need for speed and desire to break the Pendine land-speed record is infectious and makes for compelling viewing”.
Each week, Zef asks his MADMAX Race Team to pick a vehicle to be extensively modified in order to create a machine that’s unique and incredibly powerful. He even tests them himself!

But it hasn’t all been smooth-sailing for him. Zef broke 11 bones, was hospitalised for three months and had to learn to walk again when his 560 bhp Rolls-Royce jet-turbine-powered motorcycle crashed at 234 mph.
